Attention all you kayak fisherman. You human powered, fish finder, rod holder, beer cooler, state-of-the-art, GoPro rigged yakkers tearing up the tournament trail and spreading the gospel of this emerging sport to all corners of the world… we have news for you. Kayak fishing, even the extreme kind, is nothing new. Evidence of this sport carbon dates to 2,000 BC when the indigenous people of the artic regions fished from driftwood frames covered in animal skins for salmon, cod, seals and even whales.

Make-A-Wish... Granted!

On Monday, February 22nd at 4:00 pm, we fulfilled the wish of a local young man through the Make-A-Wish foundation. His original ‘wish’ letter is attached along with the supporting document for the wish. (Yes, you read it right… it’s a $9,500 fishing kayak!)
